Born in Prague, Czech Republic in 1994. Between 2009–2013 studied ceramics and porcelain at the College and High art school of Vaclav Hollar. Since 2013 has been studying in the Studio of glass at the Academy of Art Architecture & Design in Prague.
"For me, glass represents basic material as well as the immense source of inspiration. I usually combine it with other materials - most frequently with wood. My intent is to bring harmony between those materials. My aim is to design such products that would inspire other people, evoke their emotions and bring joy into their lives. For eight generations we have handcrafted wool, cotton, linen and hemp for the home. Our fabrics have inside them a piece of ourselves and of our land. Tuscany
The headquarters of the company are in a five hundred years palazzo , which reminds us of the times when wool was laid to dry, in spring, on the top of the covered porches while in the basement weaving machines kept on rattling.
Nowadays, we are still processing rustic wool from the Appennines , Nothern Umbria and Casentino.
Shearing took place in spring by “tosini” sheep shearers, that for a long time used sheers, which have been used since Roman times. The work was carried out in the “vergherie” barns where shepherds gathered flocks, or in sheep pens. The shorn fleece was carefully worked until it became the perfect wool to be woven, warm and resistant. This is the reason why the woven cloth from Casentino has since middle age been, the fabric used for the cassocks of San Romualdo Camaldolese monks.
Busatti produced woven wool for the cassocks till soon after WWII. Nowadays we produce it once again in natural linen fiber , called Antico Casentino which has renewed this centuries old tradition.

Inspired by her many journeys along the historical trade routes and guided by her creativity, curiosity, and fascination with other cultures and social engagement, she discovers the finest products. IVV, Industria Vetraria Valdarnese, was founded in 1952 by a group of master glassmakers in San Giovanni Valdarno, the very heart of Tuscany. Anne Black is a Copenhagen based ceramicist who´s career evolves around her devotion to applied arts & craftsmanship. Her excitement of working hands-on with the clay were initially inspired by studying ancient Chinese porcelain in school. After graduating from the design school in 1996, she worked in various collective pottery workshops in Copenhagen, creating her porcelain objects, which combine Scandinavian design and craftsmanship, into functional handmade porcelain pieces.
In 2005 Anne transformed her pottery skills and workshop into a development project, when she created a ceramic factory, in the north of Vietnam, together with Mrs. Hang (Vietnamese). There she had the chance to work closely with skilled artisans with whom she exchanged ideas, knowledge and inspiration.
The facility initially received support from the Danish aid organisation Danida and has over the years matured into a socially sustainable factory with more than 50 artisans, who produce Anne´s porcelain, with meticulous skill, by hand, day by day.
While given access, to clean working environment, insurances, health programmes and increased economic opportunity, these artisans, at the same time, preserve treasured traditions of craftsmanship in Bat Trang, a famous village in Vietnam, known for its history within ceramics.
2013 was another transforming year for Anne Black, when she added her Copenhagen based concept store black. There she curated a selection of international high-end brands, within fashion, furniture and design accessories together with her own lines of handmade porcelain.
Anne who is also a mother of 3 kids, lives just a few blocks from her Copenhagen based shop. Her favorite spot is the workshop, where she creates new objects. She has long ago joined forces with her husband Jesper Moseholm creating a small family business in Denmark, with an international reach. And in Vietnam, she is a member of the Hang family, and the 7th generation producing porcelain in Bat Trang.

There is a certain magic to the story of how our company started. Karin travelled to Egypt 22 years ago to look for interesting items for her new home accessories company, Zenza. She came back not only with a handbag full of samples, but also madly in love with Hussein! Soon business steadily grew - as well as their family. And they still live and work together passionately.
Yasmina, who started working for Zenza a few years ago, developped herself as the best office manager we could dream of. Since 2010 she became co-owner of our company.
Zenza became especially famous with its beautiful lamp collection and garnered the attention of designers and stylists worldwide. Nowadays there is great appreciation for the handcraftsmanship that is so characteristic of our collection. Handmade products have a "soul" which gives them an extra value and beauty. We often combine ancient techniques with a modern twist in our design and develop a very elegant, intimate but nevertheless modern atmosphere with our collection.

The identity of Bitossi Ceramiche starts from the beginning of 1900’s and develops upon a productive ceramic tradition that existed in Montelupo Fiorentino starting from 1500. The Bitossi family business produces artistic ceramics, at least since 1871. It will be Guido Bitossi, heir to the ceramic tradition, to establish in 1921 the “Manifattura Maioliche Artistiche” featuring typical local craft works.
The traditional production was renewed thanks to the Art Direction of Aldo Londi, a man attentive to the evolution of taste and with a natural born creative and aesthetical sense. The meeting with the architect Ettore Sottsass was of primary importance and it turned into a close collaboration with Londi for many years. Together they will give birth to successful lines which combined and magnified skill and genius. Bitossi Ceramiche still is in the original factory and it is still the destination for leading design characters who are fascinated by the historical value of the company and by craft production and create unique collections which are then recognizable in the nicest international shops.
This attitude bound to the entrepreneurial skills developed throughout the years and to the constant research for quality product, helped to create its own identity for Bitossi Ceramiche, qualifying it as an example of Italian excellence.
The family thus started to collect over 7000 historical works, documents and material related to the artistic ceramic production since 1871, and so it was created a massive Archive. Thanks to this collection in 2003 it was opened the main core of MAIB – Bitossi Artistic Industrial Museum, managed by the Vittoriano Bitossi Foundation, a direct offshoot of the family. In 2011 MAIB became member of MUSEIMPRESA, Italian Association of Enterprise Archives and Museums. In 2014 during the “Enterprise Culture Week” the Vittoriano Bitossi Foundation released the biography and presented the show dedicated to the master Aldo Londi, titled “Aldo Londi, a 20th Century Ceramist”.
On December, 2, 2014 Bitossi Ceramiche was officially entitled as member of the Registry of Italian Historical Companies, instituted by the National Union of Chambers of Commerce.
