We focus on transforming and establishing a relationship between the inner space and the exterior according to each client´s needs.

Esencial is a progressive architectural office founded in its present form in 2017 by Carmen Izquierdo and Mariano Tellechea. A young practice with an extensive experience.
Our aim is to find the hidden potential behind every issue and formulate a vision that we develop into a viable project. We believe that a close collaboration between the client, architect and contractor, really means that we are able to create fantastic environments for today and the future. We are involved in all stages, from concept to built architecture.
We are perceptive of the place and its character. We analyse the history of events in the location and the building type, the program’s potentials and site conditions. We want to create architecture with a strong sense of presence and place specificity, which adds qualities to its context, which finds a clear answer to the program's organization and suggests ways to develop previous solutions. We meet the needs and requirements of the program with stimulating spaces and room sequences. We are looking for an architecture that has an intensity, which has a clear materiality and a coherence between the overall shape and the singular building component. We are looking for an architecture that elevates everyday life!

Bunker Arquitectura is a Mexico City-based architecture, urbanism and research office founded by Esteban Suarez in 2005 and partnered by his brother Sebastian Suarez. In their short career they have been able to experience and experiment architecture in the broadest scale possible: from small iconic chapels for private clients to a master plan for an entire city. Bunker has continuously attracted attention for its "outside the box" approach to architecture with projects such as a three-kilometer habitable bridge that unites the bay of Acapulco and an inverted skyscraper 300 meters deep in the main square of the historic center of Mexico City.
Every new project starts with a profound research of the social, political, economical, cultural and environmental factors that surround each particular site. The analysis and understanding of all this information, crossbred with Bunker´s indefatigable pursuit of innovation, yields architecture that is specific to its conditions. In this sense, no two projects ever look or feel alike. What ties them together is an evident need to constantly push the boundaries of architecture.
Besides developing projects for private clients, the government or competitions, Bunker is continuously involved in self-financed research projects that nurture the theoretical side of their practice. In this manner, the built and unbuilt projects bear the same weight in their balance. Theory and practice coexist in perfect symbiosis.

* MEXICO DAY * ARDITTI+RDT/architects - dedicated to architectural research through thoughtful practice.
ARDITTI+RDT/architects is a talented architectural design research team that first garnered national attention when its work was featured in the book Young Mexican Architects. The firm first attained international recognition in the exhibition "New Mexican Architecture" in Madrid, Spain, on the occasion of the first Ibero-American biennial in 1998. Its work belongs to an emerging young expression of modern architecture in Mexico, their primary place of practice, and recent commissions abroad have expanded its scope and reach. Mauricio, Arturo and Jorge Arditti head the firm.
During his forty years of practice, Mauricio’s approach to the design and construction of residences has been tailored to a specific clientele with an eye towards professional excellence. He was born in Mexico City in 1938, graduated with honors from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, and is a fellow of the Universidad Anahuac’s honorary board of consultant members. In 1984 he and his son Arturo joined forces, and when his son Jorge joined the practice in 1990, they decided to form ARDITTI+RDT/architects, a firm devoted exclusively to architectural design. Their experience includes a wide variety of project types—residential, commercial, and religious—and has tackled design solutions for corporate, institutional and tourist enterprises from architectural planning to interior design, according to the needs of each client.
Born in 1963, Arturo received his professional degree in Architecture in 1986 from the Universidad Anahuac in Mexico City, where he received first prize for his Calacoaya project. With this project, Arturo was invited to represent Mexico at an international student exhibition at Columbia University in New York City. Arturo is a visiting professor and critic at SCI-Arc (Southern California Institute of Architecture) in Los Angeles. He has also served as a member of the alumni board at Universidad Anahuac, where he has taught at the Master of Excellence in Architectural Design program. Arturo is a photography enthusiast, a field in which he has been the recipient of several awards.
Jorge was born in 1967, and graduated from the Universidad Anahuac in 1991. Jorge continued his education at the Massachusetts College of Art, with a focus on computer-generated graphics. He was invited to represent Mexico with his lecture at an exhibit of young Latin American architects in 1993 at the Technion University in Haifa, Israel.
Mauricio, Arturo and Jorge have lectured widely throughout Mexico, the United States and Latin America, and their work has appeared in a number of books and periodicals.
ARDITTI+RDT/architects is dedicated to architectural research through thoughtful practice. Their work is presented here with more than 300 color photographs and 150 drawings.
