GKo Gallery is a project started in 2008. The original idea was conceived by Garikoitz Murua, Kim Francis and Gabriel De Maeztu, soon after, Kamilo Rodriguez joined the project. It officially opened its doors in August the same year. Its main intention is to open a space for urban art creation in the Basque Country.
Monthly expositions display a variety of expressions inspired by the urban-street environment. Although our interest is to collaborate with artists, galleries and projects abroad we put special priority to local artists. We believe that this kind of initiatives will enhance artistic creation in the region.

Over the years he walks and identifies with the Bauhaus concepts of joining and reviewing shapes, volumes, prospects and plans to a careful craftwork.
There are three defined times in the career of Arturo Alvarez. In the early years he explores and works with figurative concepts based on nature. In a second time he progresses toward abstraction exploring simple geometric shapes without abandoning references to nature, it appears the female body, a theme that is repeated and which he keeps on researching along the years. Arturo Álvarez is currently developing new forms of expression, with light as his guiding thread and with the human being and its relations as the main subject, with its lights and shadows, encounters and missed encounters, issues of concern and he deepens from different techniques.
In the last ten years he has been conducting a comprehensive experimental and research work to develop his own materials that allow him a more creative freedom and expressiveness. He takes them out of their common uses, mixing them and transforming them into something new and unique. He creates and patents SIMETECH®, a translucent material which can be molded to obtain different textures.

Cosmic was created in 1985 in Barcelona as a family company manufacturing quality bathroom accessories. From the very start our well-defined mission was to design accessories with superior features which would stand out above those already on the market.
In 1990, our continuous commitment and work gained the support and recognition of distributors throughout Spain. It was the perfect time to launch our international expansion, resulting in new corporate objectives, focused on contemporary design and innovation as differential factors.
As the new millennium approached, Cosmic became the benchmark brand, a point of reference not only for accessories but also in bathroom furniture. The success behind this new way of understanding the concept of bathroom space resulted in the company exporting over 50% of its production over five continents.
In 2008, a strategic partnership was signed with the Roca Group, guaranteeing our leadership in the European business of bathroom furniture, and freestanding accessories.
The business underwent exponential growth. In 2009, Cosmic took over pomd’or in order to position it as a leading luxury brand. The company has maintained over time the commitment of pomd’or to continue to fascinate by its cult of the detail.
Growth continued, and just a year later the bath and shower screen division was integrated into the company, with the acquisition of prestigious Spanish brand Stildux. In 2012, a new step was taken with the launch of Bath + by Cosmic, a new product line aimed at a more affordable market in bathroom furniture and practical accessories, while retaining its excellent design. Quality and design are the cornerstones of our four brands.
Three decades later Cosmic maintain its essence for her good taste. Within a few years, Cosmic has gone from fittings manufacturer to becoming the driving force behind a new concept of bathrooms. This means understanding bathrooms as a reflection of each individual personality and of finding well-being through contemporary avant-garde design.

“I have always felt attracted by the patterns of light and shadows filtering through Mediterranean shutters, as well as by the work of certain architects from the Far East who work with wooden slats and bamboo cane. DNA is an outdoor furniture collection that reinterprets the essence of these horizontal shapes.”
José A. Gandia-Blasco
The light of the Mediterranean has been an inspiration and source of life over the course of history; a motive to enjoy life outdoors. DNA recovers the streaming reflection of Mediterranean light that projects ornamental nudity through its laminated aluminium structure.
DNA is a collection of outdoor furniture inspired by the subtle play of the modulations of light and shadows filtering through Mediterranean shutters and it praises the shadows of Japanese aesthetics in traditional and contemporary architecture – the positive and the negative dispossessing any superfluous adornment.
This elegant and essential collection of outdoor furniture fuses in with its surroundings, from private gardens to large contract projects.
DNA is an outdoor furniture collection designed by Jose A. Gandia-Blasco for GANDIABLASCO.
