Hosted by Seoul Metropolitan Government and organized by Seoul Design Foundation, Seoul Fashion Week is a bi-annual series of global fashion business events, held in March and October. Seoul Fashion Week is operated strategically with a goal to become one of the most prominent fashion weeks of the world, following after New York, Paris, London, and Milan Fashion Weeks.
Seoul Collection, which is a series of top Korean designers' fashion show, it is one of the largest fashion business events in Korea. First held in 2000, the Collection has become the most distinguished collection among all along with the growth of Korean fashion industry.
Generation Next’ has established its prestige of fostering up-and-coming designers. The participants are restricted to designers of independent fashion brands that have one to five years of short history. Presented with uncommon perception and unique ideas, the collection serves as a gateway for the next generation designers.

‘Kumann’ was a custom-made women’s wear studio founded in 1965 by EunHwan Oh.
As her business matured, in 1979, she launched her ready-to-wear brand, ‘OH EUN HWAN Boutique’, which is one of the well-respected designer brands in Korea.
In 2010, HyeJin Yoo began reviving the heritage of the studio, ‘Kumann’, as a new avant-garde brand. Rooted in her fine arts career, she began redeveloping a novel contemporary line focusing on imaginative shapes and structures to search for a new potentials of fabrication. Her innovative creation, one-of-a kind silhouettes engenders its own original characters to contribute its highest quality designs and workmanship for the brand ‘Kumann’.
An ethos of KUMANN, beyond post-modern era, has been redefined by HyeJin Yoo in a contemporary avant-garde by modernizing heritage of the brand and reconfiguring the images of the brand especially in focusing creative structure and sculptural details along with a search of new materials and fabrications.
Ready-to-wear collections of KUMANN YOO HYE JIN have been configured in an approach of half-couture with artistic concepts and forms beyond the trends. HyeJIn Yoo keeps experimenting on unique silhouettes and shapes in structured designs with inventive digital textile printing. Target group of the brand is fashion-conscious people in multi-age who place value on originality, creativity, and exclusiveness. And yet, designs are easy to wear and attractive to any occasion.
